My visit to SGU

So, I finally went back to SGU after 7 months. I got to see all my family,friends and my SkyWest family. I don't know why but Mia was always too busy to take a pic with auntie. I loved seeing my Ashley and want to thank her for letting me use some buddy passes. Yes, first class is nice. LOL My sis looks great too!!! Of course we visited the Fely's and I got Veronica's famous strawberry shortcake. I also got to taste T's drink specialty but enough of that. LOVED SEEING YOU ALL!!! WE MISS YOU!!!

SEPT 1998

Five things I was doing 10 years ago: Sept 1998?
1. I was going to my last semester of college(didn't finish)
2. Dating the cute boy I've been married to for 3 yrs, yes we didn't for a long time
3. Trying to keep up with 2 very active but cute boys
4. Playing Co-Ed softball
5. Wishing I lived somewhere besides Cedar City (sorry)

1. Look for a rewarding job
2. Go to the beach
3. Talk to Cory since he's at grandma's
4. Thinking about getting on a plane to SGU
5. Clean my room

1. Anything with Chocolate

4. Pina Colada
5. Isn't 4 enough

*Five things I would do if I were a millionaire:
1. Get my honey's back fixed RIGHT this time
2. Get a horse
3. I would want to help finace a facility for terminally ill children and their families
4. Have a nice pool at my house
5. Put money in for each niece/nephew for college.

Things that irk me!!!

Yes, get ready I'm getting on my soap box.
Okay before Hurricane Ike hit town they had a mandatory evacuation order in place, some 2,000 people did not leave and now they need to be rescued. HELLO PEOPLE THEY TOLD YOU TO LEAVE. So, now the good men and women of the Coast Guard are putting their lives on the line to get these people out. Watching Matt Lauer on the Today Show he asked "why didn't you leave?" Oh we had no place to go. Are ya kidding me????

Another thing that really gets me going. I applied with a local airline back in April out of the blue I get a call asking if I was still interested in a crew scheduler position? I said of course I would love to interview. I show up,have a really great interview they showed me around the place, told me I was so over qualified but if I didn't have a problem they sure didn't and guess what??? I don't get a phone call either way, no communication, no email, no mail NOTHING!!!! What happened to common courtesy. Can you say I MISS SKYWEST!!!

That was a real CRAPPY call against my Chargers!!!! Nuff said!!!

OK enough of this I'm going to the beach to chilax!!! LOL

We decided to go horseback riding one afternoon just the two of us. It was so much fun and Donovan looked so funny on a horse. He's over six feet and he just didn't look very comfortable...
The next pictures are from Waimea Valley we took a little hike up to the waterfall we didn't know to bring our swim suits and the boys didn't want to get their shorts wet. Maybe if we ever get any visitors we'll go again!!!!

Vietnam

So most of you know my husband is in foreign affairs and travels quite a bit to different countries. This last trip was to Vietnam and he was gone for six long weeks. The good thing he was in hotels the whole time with a decent shower!!!
